My Consulting Philosophy
A consultant who believes he can change a company, does not live in the real world of goods
A consultant can at best stimulate from the outside of a company its self-perception
The customer, however, must have the ability to actively ask the qualities of the consultant and to use them in an effective way
A good consultant makes people involved and promotes an open and transparent exchange of information and build a constructive team spirit
A good consultant is paired with its own emotional intelligence and leadership and at the beginning of a project is listening more than talking
A good consultant is a leader with high integrity who has lived his „lessons learnt“
Trust is created only if the customer sees the results of the project grow and can assist to shape.
The solution lies next to the confidence in the simplicity, means: take out complexity of the underlying problem and provide transparency and measurability
Good consultancy is a special kind of partnership - this reciprocity is the basis for a project success
A good consultant mediates his customers not only expertise but represents for them as well a sparring partner, catalyst and facilitator/coach who helps to fully exploit
the momentum of a project for the benefit of the parties involved
My approach
Initial contact should be followed by an interview at policy level. In this conversation the expectations and objectives should be outlined
as well as the time frame and the basic conditions should be set as far as possible.
If necessary, this conversation can be followed by a „fact-finding mission“.
Based on the findings a conceptual proposal will be submitted including commercial terms and describing the resources.
It is my principle to be always personnally involved in the projects and to take over the lead.
If the project gets too complex and comprehensive I have to rely on associated resources.
By placing the order the details of scope and boundary conditions will be fixed.
